By using Klarinotte ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Klarinotte is a web-based, privacy-first note-taking application. Your data is stored locally in your browser. An optional sync feature transmits end-to-end encrypted data to our servers. The App is provided free of charge for personal use.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding:
We do not warrant that errors in the App will be corrected.
We are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes — but is not limited to — loss of data, loss of notes, loss of profits, business interruption, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent any liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Klarinotte and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, and costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
All rights in the App, its design, and its source code remain with Klarinotte and its contributors. Your notes and data belong to you — we make no claim over the content you create.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Klarinotte regarding the App, and supersede any prior agreements.
